Relaxing into Change

Change is tricky. It can be uncomfortable. It can feel threatening. Even when it is good change. Yet, on a cellular level, we change constantly. All the time. Our cells and organs renew themselves like clockwork in order to keep us healthy, well, … and functioning. It is the mind that keeps us in the loop of “what-if’s, could-have’s, should-have’s, would-have’s.” It is a record that plays over and over – and often, we don’t know where to find the off-switch.
 
It may sound counter-intuitive to you, but the only way to get out of this rut is… to slow down.

My recipe right now? Simplify.

Ask yourself: “How can I make life easier for me right now?“ “What can I let go?”

And then listen to your gut. When you are in tune with yourself, clarity and answers can find their way. When you are off-tune, you may be confused, scared and even get angry.

Our feelings are great indicators whether we are in tune with ourselves, or not. If you have unlearned this, or stopped listening to your body, maybe it’s time for a Reiki session. I won’t be able to fix you or your problems, but I can show you how to Relax with Reiki. As we relax, letting go becomes easier and as Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D. wrote:
