Reiki is a spiritual practice from Japan that is based on mindfulness tools & techniques and touch. The translation of the word Reiki, which is two Japanese kanjis combined into one, means “life force energy” or “spiritual energy”.

Reiki sessions help promote relaxation, stimulate the body’s innate healing response, and support personal development.

    People turn to Reiki when

    • They’re experiencing physical pain
    • They’re experiencing mental pain
    • They’re experiencing emotional pain
    • They’re looking for alternatives or supplements to Western medicine
    • They strive for self-improvement
Commonly reported benefits of Reiki sessions include:

    A deep sense of relaxation

    Reduced stress and anxiety

Accelerated recovery from injury / surgery

    Enhanced vitality and mind-body-awareness

    Improved sleep and digestion

A more positive outlook and overall sense of increased well-being

    Increased concentration and focus

    Decreased pain

More resilience ability to deal with life challenges better

  • How many sessions?

Do not expect to be "healed" in one session.

Reiki works best accumulatively over time: Each session builds on the work accomplished in the previous session(s). Try several sessions, at least three, before you decide if Reiki is right for you.

  • How does Reiki work?

Reiki is not magic and not woo woo, yet it works in miraculous ways.
Thrive Reiki provides a unique approach to stress relief and management through Reiki-based practices such as touch, mindfulness & meditation. Unlike massage or acupuncture, treatment is not only physical.
Reiki works with your body, mind and spirit all at the same time.

Sessions stimulate the body's relaxation and self-healing responses and restore balance, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

But: Reiki does not replace conventional medical or psychological treatment.
