"I had come down with a very disturbing case of breakthrough COVID which resulted in a month of no sleep, accompanied by intense physical and emotional pain that did not seem to want to let up. I had heard about Reiki and thought this is the time to give it a try. During my first session I immediately recognized a calm come over my body. I went home and slept like a baby for the first time in weeks without heavy drugs. It really showed me the importance of the body feeling calm and safe in order to heal. I walked out after one session a believer and continued to come back as I improved. I am incredibly grateful and, at the same time, amazed at Andrea’s ability to create a space of presence and care that gave me what I couldn’t find at any doctor’s office. Andrea had also given me helpful guidance through the whole situation. I owe much of my healing to her. My wife has since been going to her and had experienced the same results. I highly recommend a visit to Andrea, she is patient and caring, and I have always looked forward to my time with her."

"I’d say that I genuinely only have positive feedback for my first package of reiki sessions. I find Andrea to be professional in a way that a traditional therapist might be, which is comforting to someone like me who unfamiliar with alternative wellness practices.
The reiki sessions were really therapeutic. I’ve done traditional mental health therapy before, but I find myself moving more toward self-directed therapy and exploring healing alternatives. Of course, I am open to energy healing and spiritual disciplines and I tried my best to do the homework - so I’m sure that helped me gain benefit from the sessions.
I think reiki has provided me a sense of relaxation and calm in my body that is hard for me to maintain on my own. Andrea has a warm and kind personality, and I always felt comfortable with her touching me. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about being on the table but I was always at ease!"
- Erin Chu, Mamaroneck, N.Y.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?
Do not expect to be "healed" in one session.
The number of sessions depends on your needs and goals - and the kind of support you're looking for. Reiki works best accumulatively over a consistent period of time. Each session builds on the work accomplished in the previous session(s). A general recommendation is to start with three sessions before you decide if Reiki is right for you.
The translation of the word Reiki, which is two Japanese kanjis combined into one, means “life force energy” or “spiritual energy”. Reiki is not magic and not woo woo.
