Time to recharge, reset and restore

When time starts to slip away too quickly- remember to schedule in time to relax. By Andrea Kartika Deierlein

August 5, 2022

Time and self-care go hand-in-hand. Yet, self-care looks different to each person. Some need time to center in the quiet of nature, while others recharge in a larger social setting. No matter what it looks like for you, it is important to make time, take time, and prioritize time… for yourself.

I hope that you’re enjoying time off this summer and do what nurtures your nature.

Because when you're overwhelmed and overscheduled, brain fog and distractions can cloud your mind and make life seem more complicated than it needs to be.

Managing your time (which, by the way, can be viewed as a form of energy) is a true steppingstone back to your Self.

Just for today, why not be still and connect with your Self for a few moments?

If your mind needs something to do, repeat: I. AM. HERE. NOW.”

You can also pair the words with your breath:

  • Inhale to “I”
  • Exhale to “AM”
  • Inhale to “HERE”
  • Exhale to “NOW”.

This will help you focus and be present. At least, for this one breath.

And if you can, why not make this a daily me-time ritual?
