Are you honoring your needs—or simply following the same well-worn routine?
This year, I’ve been diving deeper into the counter-intuitive, yet profound power of slowing down. As Lee Harris, an energy intuitive I’ve been following for years, shared in his March Energy Forecast, “the slow lane is the fast lane.” Rather than letting overwhelm cloud my clarity, I pay additional attention to step back, breathe, and listen. Whether it’s taking a quiet early morning walk with my dog or finding solace with a good book, these moments remind me to be present, turn the focus inwards, to find stillness.

As a Reiki professional, who’s been in business for almost a decade (February 1st marked my 9th anniversary), I witness, time and again, that the body talks and sends us clear signals. It whispers for us to release tension, to seek balance, and sometimes—when nothing else seems to work—to embrace the gentle, restorative power of rest.
"The less you believe you have to do,
the more you achieve what you need to do."
~ Alan Cohen
We live in interesting times full of uncertainty and change. A lot feels scary. Uncomfortable. Threatening. Yet, the human body is constantly changing. Rest helps us replenish. According to Scientific American, our bodies replace billions of cells every day. It’s a powerful reminder of the flow of life… that life happens…that life does what life does… and that there are natural rhythms, like the rhythm of the breath, that invite overthinking minds to slow down, to let go, even if it’s only for just one moment.
May you experience moments of REST, CALM & FLOW – today and every day.
